GoogleBar

Modified version of the google taskbar for Firefox.

Some utilities only work with certain programs or operating systems. That is the case of the Google bar, that when it was launched only worked with Internet Explorer. But it is also very common that unknown and selfless developers build versions of these utilities adapted to other applications or platforms.

  The main idea behind the GoogleBar project was to develop version of the Google Toolbar utility that were compatible with other web browsers. That is how GoogleBar, an add-on for Firefox, was developed, incorporating the famous Google bar to the interface of this well known browser.

  This add-on allows the user to obtain all the functionalities of the Google bar in Mozilla's most famous browser, offering quick access to options like:
- Searches using the Google search engine.
- Websites.
- Search suggestions.
- Search for news, images or videos.
- Google Groups.
- Printing searches.

  And all this without having to open the Google website, just installing GoogleBar.

  Note: This download only works on old version of Firefox prior to version 3.0.
